How we work

1. Your media and volume. We start with what you need to destroy: hard drives, SSDs, tapes, phones; how many per month; at one site or several.

2. The standard you must meet. NIST SP 800-88, an ISO/IEC 21964 security level, the NSA/CSS EPL or your customer’s requirements determine the method and the evidence.

3. The method per type of media. Degaussing for magnetic media, physical destruction or shredding for solid-state media, dismantling where materials are recovered. Often a combination.

4. Proof. With SCAN-1X or IRONCLAD every item is recorded, with a certificate of destruction for your records or your customer’s audit.

5. Installation and service. We deliver, install and instruct, and maintain the equipment with our own service engineers.

Typical set-ups

• One workplace for hard drives and SSDs: a degausser plus the PD-5E with SSD-1E, as a Degauss & Destroy package or the compact SPACESAVER.
• Mobile within a site: the Enclosed Destruction Cart.
• On location: a DDM mobility package in a transport case.
• High volume with material recovery: the DiskMantler Suite.
