The SPACESAVER puts a complete erase-and-destroy process on a footprint of 330 × 489 mm. A 1 T degausser (HD-2XTSSE, from the HD-2XTE family) and the PD-5E destroyer share one housing; the SSD-1E insert for solid-state media is included.
That makes it a practical choice for organisations that destroy media themselves, but in modest numbers and without a dedicated room: a hospital IT department, a bank branch, a municipal office. With IRONCLAD the SPACESAVER processes up to 180 drives per hour, each with a photo and result in the report.
