Description

The HD-2XTE is the smallest degausser in the Garner range. It fits on a desk and runs on a normal wall socket, drawing 145 W while charging. That makes it suitable for an office, a hospital IT department or a server room, where drives are erased close to where they are decommissioned.

A cycle takes 8 seconds. With SCAN-1X or IRONCLAD you record every erased drive; with IRONCLAD the HD-2XTE processes up to 180 drives per hour, each with a photo in the report.

The HD-2XTE is also the degausser in the SPACESAVER, a compact set with the PD-5E destroyer. Garner does not list the HD-2XTE on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List.
