Description

The HD-3XTLE is designed for throughput. Instead of a drawer it has an opening with a slide: you feed the drive in, the degausser detects it and erases it in 3 seconds without a start button. That keeps an operator working at a steady pace, up to 450 drives of 3.5″ per hour.

The opening takes media up to 43.2 mm high, so thicker enterprise drives and most tape cartridges fit. Smaller 1.8″ and 2.5″ drives can be processed in bundles of up to ten.

SCAN-1X is included. With IRONCLAD you also get a photo and a pass/fail result per drive. Garner does not list the HD-3XTLE on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List.
